I ordered a stock pot and waited for over one yr but it never came. I got emails for a yr telling me information technology would ship by a sure appointment, then when that date finally came, I would get some other email telling me there was another delay. After i twelvemonth, I finally decided to become a refund. Notwithstanding, I paid with a gift carte du jour and customer service told me that they have to ship me a new 1. I am at present in the same state of affairs with waiting for my refund souvenir card. My email says it should have been delivered a week agone just it all the same has non shown up. Customer service was unable to do anything for me and could not even go me on the phone with a supervisor. Both bug take been left unresolved and Williams-Sonoma does not seem to care that I am now missing hundreds of dollars that are owed back to me due to their failure to evangelize on a product that they sold but didn't have.

Additionally, the unabridged fourth dimension I was communicating with client service while waiting for the pot, they told me that they were going to practice something for me due to the insanely long fourth dimension I had been waiting for the stock pot. Although I didn't ask for anything extra to be done for me, it would accept been appreciated as a way of acknowledging this frustrating situation but nothing was always washed. Non that I intendance, I merely want my money back from this horrible visitor.

Bought a GreenPan for my Mom in Sept. The finish started to come off, and then I called Williams-Sonoma (WS). Would have taken it to the store in Madison, WI, just they airtight information technology several weeks ago. Short version - WS told united states nosotros take to call GreenPan because it's been "then long" since we purchased information technology. My perception - Williams Sonoma does Not stand backside what they sell.

I bought a 12.v" Demeyere Atlantis skillet that costs $318 including tax. The delivery appointment keeps getting pushed back so I've spoken with several agents and mentioned that I'd like to cancel the society if it doesn't make it in the next week, and of class it didn't. On this Friday night, it showed that a shipping label has been created but UPS hasn't received the item yet, and so I've reached out to customer service in try to cancel the club. The next mean solar day a CS lady said it would be delivered on the 29th, which wasn't the delivery engagement on the UPS website. She asked me if I'd like to starting time a return and I, naively, said yeah as I thought I'd get a refund of the merchandise value. I've merely recently learned virtually their hidden aircraft fees when I returned an order past mail and got charged $12 for shipping fees.

So I've asked CS more questions about shipping fees and told them that I'd like to return in-store to avoid hidden shipping fees. Another Cs lady replied to my side by side e-mail and confirmed with me that I'd similar to render in store and said that I may need to speak with the shop first. I planned to practice that tomorrow but I got a surprise email from Paypal saying that WS has issued a refund of $47.seventy for an lodge that costs $318??? I wasn't informed of the exact aircraft charges anywhere in the emails. Who in their correct mind would spend effectually $200 for return shipping? The concluding CS lady I've spoken with knew that I was interested in returning in-store.

The detail has not even arrived yet but they've decided that I would get $47.lxx out of $318??? I didn't even get to impact or return the item at this signal. If I knew they were going to refund me that little money, I'd rather keep the item that I didn't want. This is the biggest scam I've ever got in my life. I for sure wouldn't let them take my money that easy and I'm prepare for a dispute fight despite my busy life. Someone needs to bring this scam company to light so people are more aware of their means of stealing money from people.

I have been a client of Williams Sonoma for over 25 years and that clan ends today-non that they will care. My most recent purchase was Riedel white wine glasses. Certainly, non expensive, however more costly than your average glassware from a section store. I had my initial etched on them to match the other glasses I have purchased from them. They arrived with the name RIEDEL emblazoned on the base of each glass which was not on my other spectacles, nor mentioned or shown in the ad. I contacted customer service, which was of course was someone nigh probable working from dwelling house with little to no knowledge of the product.

I had to be transferred because the start rep knew NOTHING and the 2d rep (afterwards 15 minutes) let me know, of class, they tin can't be returned because of the personalization. Wow, that was informative. In the futurity, let people know that the visitor name is going to be on the item like a billboard in Times Square. I take Baccarat and Waterford glassware that does not practice this. In the past this would have been handled to my satisfaction, but not today. No ane cares, of class (you are either function of the problem or the solution, and I don't requite a damn about the insincere "we apologize" scripted responses). The only thing left for them to do is add the word "Mart" to their name. I would take received the same consideration from Wal-Mart.

I tin can say with certainty that Williams Sonoma is at present responsible for the worst customer service experience I've ever had with a retailer and that the company'southward gift exchange policy is outdated to the indicate of being ludicrous and it appears to purposely designed to thwart my efforts to spend my money as I choose. Permit me to explain. On Dec. 27, 2021, I returned a gift I had received for Christmas at the Williams Sonoma at Columbus Circle in New York Urban center. Information technology had been ordered online and so picked up there several days earlier.

Upon making the return, I was told that the only ways for issuing a refund was to have a merchandise carte du jour sent to via me the U.Due south. Postal Service and that 1 would make it in my mailbox within 14 business days, which would take been approximately January. 14, 2022. This struck me equally exceedingly unusual given that Williams Sonoma sells digital gift cards and given how much business the company surely does online, perhaps more in its physical stores. The souvenir had been ordered online, then why could the credit not simply be applied digitally so that I could buy the item I wanted online instead?

Later fourteen business days, the carte du jour had not arrived. I contacted customer service and was assured past the person who answered that Williams Sonoma "understood my frustration." This person said the company's systems showed that the card had been "invoiced" on Dec. 30 and therefore would not accept gone out until January. 3, 2022, since that was the next business day according to this person'due south calculations. Why had I previously been told the card went out on December. 29? That was not explained. This person gave me a new arrival date of Jan. 21, said that no tracking data was available considering the card was being shipped via USPS and repeated that if the card had not arrived by then that it could be voided and reissued "to ensure y'all received it." Based on my experience to this bespeak, I'm not confident that would "ensure" annihilation.

This person closed his note by apologizing and saying, "I understand this is a bigger hassle than you originally predictable." He was right. This process is plain a hassle, just I could non accept anticipated how big it would be. I replied to this person by recounting my growing frustration and noting the conflicting timelines. The response I received to that email was an incoherent effort to explicate the meaning of the term "invoiced," which was beyond beside the betoken.

The store does NOT put up notices nor do the sales associates inform that the food/candy is not returnable the fourth dimension of purchase. When I tried to return the overpriced, unopened vanilla excerpt and 2 tins of the vacation candy (with receipt) I was informed past the sales associate that it was dangerous to accept back food items and the store policy do not to accept returns on these items. When I asked where the sign stating that, she said it was on the receipt. That is bad policy and business practices every bit you only get a receipt AFTER purchasing item, making it immediately not-returnable.

I have loved this store for years and years. Over the last yr or and so I have been getting more and more disappointed. Ordered something a yr agone that was not in stock and was backorder for a few months. In one case that time came their warehouse canceled the order without calling usa. When we called into back up they said they reordered it. A month later when we did non go it all the same called again and was told that they were waiting on a phone call from united states of america. WHAT???? Last particular I ordered I received yesterday a cute ginger jar. It was on sale half off or a fleck more. It was chipped and the jar lid was also small for the base opening. Called support to go a replacement and a render shipping package for the faulty product. Was told that due to it being on sale no refund or return. I want a production I paid for not a defective product. Don't think I volition exist ordering anything online from them again.

I love Williams Sonoma and have spent thousands of dollars at their shop. I tried to render an item with the preprinted render label. UPS could not scan information technology. I tried to reprint the label on WS website but was non able to do and then. I chatted with a rep.

I purchased two mirrors in November 2021 and four light sconces for a brand new bathroom we were edifice. In December mirrors arrived just ane was damaged- they advised me to send it back and issued me a replacement number and assured me the new mirror was existence sent. Fast forward to Dec 23rd no mirror so I call to see where it is equally the contractors take installed my other matching mirror - entire bathroom has been congenital around these mirrors and lights and I am told deplorable no mirror was shipped or volition exist shipped every bit it is discontinued.

WHAT?? When was someone going to tell me this - I was obviously in trouble merely no resolution- They accept over $900 of my money and no refund - I had to purchase to new ones in hopes they will fit in this infinite. I had to pay for shipping charges again and they refused to waive my shipping charges- nonetheless no refund for mirrors one that I returned and other I cannot use and they will not send me a return label. A large company and they are stealing from the public.

Zilch I have ordered has always been satisfactory. I am done with Williams Sonoma. Sub par products at overly inflated pricing. Ane run around after another, all the while maxim "they care". There is a term for that, and it involves the backend of a bull.
